UNHCR-ASAM Counselling Line started to serve all the refugees and asylum-seekers living in Turkey by March 2017. The call center can be reached at 444 48 68 and counselling services are offered primarily in Arabic and Farsi, but Urdu, Somali, English and Turkish are also available. By the help of this Counselling Line, where 30 counselors are actively serving and approximately 1000 calls are answered daily, asylum-seekers and refugees, who cannot reach local support mechanisms due to the language barrier or various types of vulnerabilities, have the opportunity to receive free counselling services and support through referrals to the related institutions and organizations.
